Residential Wind Turbine Installation Class

The Mid-Atlantic Renewable Energy Association is offering a wind turbine installation class, July 9-12, at the Kempton Community Center.
Members of the association recently placed the foundation for the tower at the Kempton Community Recreation Center and the concrete is now curing for the July installation of a Skystream wind turbine.

"Neighbors Powering Community" is the theme of the tenth annual SolWest Renewable Energy Fair July 25-27, 2008 at the Grant County Fairgrounds in John Day, OR. Admission includes over 50 free workshops on both off-grid and grid-intertied renewable energy (RE) and sustainable living topics. A pre-fair workshop will install a grid-intertied solar backup power system.
