Wind energy will be the topic of a free seminar on June 7 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Tipton County Foundation, 1020 W. Jefferson Street in Tipton.

Sponsored by the Indiana Agricultural Law Foundation and Ivy Tech Community College the seminar will feature, Paul Cummings with the Office of Energy Defense Development talking about general wind issues, Jimmy Bricker, Benton County extension educator talking about wind farm development in Benton County and Justin Schneider, staff attorney for Indiana Farm Bureau talking about legal issues when it comes to surrounding leases and easements of wind farms.
