Women of Wind Energy Networking Events

Luncheons

Women of Wind Energy hosts an annual networking luncheon at AWEA's WINDPOWER to present the recipients of the Rudd Mayer Memorial Sponsorship, award the Woman of the Year Award and the Rising Star Award, and to build networks and contacts in the industry.

Women of Wind Energy List Serv

All women and men who support the increased participation of professional women in the wind energy industry are invited to participate in WoWE.

Rudd Mayer Memorial Sponsorship

The Rudd Mayer Memorial Sponsorship

Each year, Women of Wind Energy gives a number of sponsorships to female college students or recent graduates to attend the annual American Wind Energy Association WINDPOWER conference. The sponsorship is a memorial to Rudd Mayer who was a pioneer in the wind industry.

Women of Wind Energy

WoWE has grown into a nationwide organization that promotes greater involvement and employment of women in the wind energy industry, and provides a unique professional networking forum. Established in 2005, WoWE has blossomed into a network of more than 500 people who have attended our annual luncheons or event Meet Ups and chapter meetings held across the country. We are guided by a Steering Committee of women from across the industry who volunteer their time, and are supported by a Program Administrator based in Minneapolis.
