Platte, SD - An informational workshop on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Opportunities for South Dakotans will be held in Platte the evening of Wednesday Feb. 24, 6:30-8:30 p.m.. The workshop is geared for both rural and town dwellers alike and will be held at the Platte Community Center Banquet Hall, 310 S. Main St., Platte, South Dakota.

Chamberlain, SD - As the need for energy independence increases and the search for alternative sources continues, wind energy has surfaced to fill the gap. This one-day seminar will review the mechanics of wind-powered generators and the wind park development process.
