Helpful Hints

Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your account (you have to log in first to access these functions!):

• Use the "View" tab to see your profile information.
• Use the "Edit" tab to update your email address or password.
• Use the "Profile" tab to tell us a little bit about yourself.

Special Tips for the "Edit" tab:

• There are many things on this page you can just ignore, such as the "Organic Groups Settings." These have to do with features of the site that are not yet active. You can make selections, they just won't affect anything.
• You can also ignore the "Contact Settings" section--that is also related to a feature we don't use on the site yet. No other users will be able to see your personal information or contact you.

Special Tips for the "Profile tab:

• Be sure to fill out the "Contact Information" section! Knowing more about you will help us better understand our audience and create the best possible new resources. If you share your valid U.S. or Canadian address, we'll send you a Windustry sticker to say thanks.
• You can add an image if you'd like, but it's not required.
• Use the "About me" section to tell us about yourself. It's not required, but we're always curious to learn more about the folks who use our resources.
